The
Nigerian Army has appointed Brig Gen BT Oginni as the
Director, Department of Coordination, AFCSC.
Brig Gen BT Oginni was born on 18 October 1957. He
attended Christ Apostolic Grammar School, Ibadan Oyo
State. He was admitted into the Nigerian Defence in
December 1977 as a member of Regular Course 23 and was
commissioned into the Nigerian Army Ordinance Corps on
19 December 1980.
COURSES ATTENDED
In the course of his career, Brig Gen Oginni has
attended several courses, some of which include; Young |

Officers Course Infantry, Command and Staff Course,
Technical Specialist Store Course, Ordnance Executive
Management Course and National War College Course. He
holds B.Sc Business Administration from the University
of Lagos.
APPOINTMENTS HELD
Gen Oginni has held a number Command and Staff
appointments. These include; Adjutant, Central Ordnance
Depot Lagos (180-183), Chief Instructor NAOC Training
Branch (1991-1995), As commanding Officer 2 BOD, Ibadan,
(1999-2001), Director of Procurement HQ NAOCS, Pioneer
Chief Instructor Nigerian Army College of Logistics,
Deputy Military Secretary 3 (2002-2003) and Commander 82
Division Ordnance Services, Commander 2 Division
Ordnance Services.
DECORATIONS
He is a recipient of the following awards; FSS, MSS, DSS,
psc(+), fwc, MNIM. He is also a chartered Member of the
Institute of Logistics and Transport (CMILT) United
Kingdom.
HOBBIES
His hobbies include Listening to Music, Playing
Golf, Reading General Knowledge Books and Photography
MARITAL STATUS
He is
happily married and blessed with 4 children (3 sons and
a daughter).
