COURSES ATTENDED
Air Commodore Oladunni has attended many military and
professional courses, some of which include: 301 Flying
Training School, Kaduna (1978), Oxford Air Training
School, England (1978 to 1979) and BO 105 Conversion
Course in Nigeria (1982). He converted on the AS 332
Super Puma helicopter at Eurocopter Marseille, France in
1988. Thereafter, he attended the Armed Forces Command
and Staff College, Jaji for JD27/89 course where he
graduated with distinction and was an award winner of
the College TIE and MERIT. In 1991, he was at the Centre
Interarmees de Formation Rochefort, France for a Diploma
in French language before proceeding to the Ecole
Superieure de Guerre Interarmees, Paris for the Senior
Staff Course where he graduated with distinction in
1993. He converted on the Mi-35P Attack Helicopter at
the 334 Combat Employment and Conversion Training Centre
Torzhok, Russia in 2000. He graduated from National War
College Abuja in 2006 and proceeded to the University of
Ibadan for Masters programme in Strategic Studies. Air
Commodore Oladunni has flown the Bulldog, Enstrom F28A,
BO105, Super Puma and the Mi-35P Attack Helicopter. He
has logged about 2,100 total flying hours with over 2000
hours on helicopters.
APPOINTMENTS HELD
Air
Commodore Oladunni has held several key appointments
including Staff Officer Operations and Training,
Nigerian Air Force Port Harcourt (1985 – 1986). Staff
Officer 2 Operations and Military Assistant to the Air
Officer Operations, Headquarters Nigerian Air Force in
1993 and 1994/95 respectively. Others are Directing
Staff, Armed Forces Command and Staff College (1995 –
1998), Commanding Officer, Helicopter Simulator Wing,
Ikeja (1998 – 2000) and Assistant Director Operations
(Air) Defence Headquarters (2000 – 2001). Other
appointments held include Commander 305 Flying Training
School, Enugu (2001 -2003), Chief Instructor, Armed
Forces Command and Staff College (2003-2005), Group
Operations Officer 99 Air Weapons School, Kainji (2006)
as well as Deputy Director Targeting, Defence
Headquarters, Abuja (2007). He is the current Director
Department of Air Warfare, Armed Forces Command and
Staff College, Jaji.
DECORATIONS
He has psc Dagger (psc+), Forces Service Star (FSS),
Meritorious Service Star (MSS), Distinguished Service
Star (DSS), Diploma in Aeronautics, Higher Diploma in
French and Masters in Strategic Studies. He was promoted
to the present rank in June 2005.
HOBBIES
Hockey, football, French language, reading and
gospel music.
MARITAL STATUS
Air Commodore Oladunni is married to Joyce
and they have four children- Akin, Folake,Olubukola and
Abioye.
